A lot of my clientele as well as referrals are stay at home moms with little ones, the 65+ community, or clients that do not feel the need of going to a salon. So while working from home, doing daily household chores, or being a busy mom who can’t afford to waste hours in a salon setting, I can come in at your convenience and provide the services that you need.
A comfortable portable shampoo bowl will be provided, as well as towels. All I ask is for you to provide me with a stainless steel sink, with a hose, and a clear working space in your kitchen. Children and pets are allowed to be present. Per safety protocols set by the State Board, I kindly ask that they not be near or around the work area where the service provider is operating. Gardenia Hair & Skin is self-efficient and will achieve the same services as if you were in a salon.

Gardenia.
Choosing a name that relates to my work; as well as the services I provide for my client was important. Gardenia’s have always been my favorite flower. The elegance as well as the smell is incredible. Sitting on my living room floor brainstorming ideas, gardenias kept coming to mind. I looked up the meaning and a gardenia symbolizes elegance, purity of a relationship, and elevating the atmosphere of an individual. From the whole description, four words leapt out at me: Personality, maintenance, renewal, and protection and this described what I wished my company to be about.

A gardenia flower requires a lot of maintenance. In comparison, clients often have the desire to sustain the level of upkeep for their hair, as well as maintaining any additional skin needs.
